Membership for 2025 is now open! Our membership year runs from January to December. This includes 3 competitions per year, held in January, April, and November.

We are a non-profit which relies solely on your membership fees and donations, as well as competition entry fees to be able to run our competitions.

Membership shall be open to any parents and dancers in one family in the same residence, in agreement with the Aims and Objectives of DRHDA, upon payment of the annual $50.00 membership fee.

Membership has its advantages:

• You’ll receive priority access to information and competition entry details. Competition registration dates will be posted on social media when the registration opens, members will receive the competition entry details from our membership email, at least 24 hours prior to registration opening. 
• No extra fees! Members are exempt from the $25 per dancer non-member levy at our competitions.
• We provide bursaries to Ontario representatives to the Closed Canadian Championships,  who are current DRHDA members and have competed in at least 2 of the 3 preceding competitions. The amount is determined on an annual basis.
• Membership includes voting privileges. A Family membership grants one vote per family, which may be cast by a parent or legal guardian, on all issues concerning the Association.
• We offer our members the opportunity for their dance studio to run the kitchen at our competitions, to raise funds for their own studios.
